High in demand jobs stream as one the provincial nominee programs of Ontario (PNP) is specially designed to fill the emergency position of the whole province. These occupations typically include people working in agriculture, construction, trades, and manufacturing.
The New Release
More newcomers may now be eligible to apply for a provincial nomination through the Ontario Immigration Program (OINP) Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills Stream. Unless the offer is for NOC 75119 – Other Trades Helpers and Laborers, the candidate’s job offer must be located outside the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

The Other Requirements
- The job offer must be from an Ontario employer and must be full-time, i.e., at least 1,560 hours per year and at least 30 hours per week. Jobs with an end date (such as contract positions) are not permitted.
- Applicants must also have at least nine months of full-time, paid, cumulative experience in Ontario in a position with the same NOC code as the job posting. Experience can be up to three years from the date of application.
- You must have a minimum Canadian language proficiency level score of 4 in reading, writing, listening and speaking in English or French.
- You must also have a Canadian diploma or high school diploma (or foreign equivalent). If you have not studied in Canada, you must submit an evaluation of your educational credentials.
- Finally, if a candidate is offered employment in a licensed professional position, they will be required to obtain licensure from the appropriate state regulatory agency before applying for appointment.
